Hi, I'm Sal

Pilates Teacher. Movement Lover. Growth Seeker

My Journey

My journey with Pilates and mindfulness started long before it became my profession. In times of weakness, moving my body was my refuge, my strength. In a world of noise and expectations, I found a space on the reformer that felt entirely mine: grounded, powerful, and euphoric. Years of therapy and the practice of positive thought through various styles shaped me, and over time, my mission became clear: to help others experience how transformative and connected movement and mindfulness can be. Not not just physically, but mentally and emotionally.

I first fell in love with Pilates in 2019. At the time, I was working as a Lash Artist and experiencing constant back and neck pain from hours spent bending over. A client suggested I try Pilates (something I had never even heard of before) and from my very first class, I was hooked. The beautiful, mindful movements paired with the rhythm of breathwork had me in an absolute chokehold.

I remember looking at the instructor and thinking: “I want to do that.” Fast forward five years and more than 1,000 classes later, here I am! A certified instructor. To now be able to share the movement that transformed both my body and mind is an honour.

I began meditating around the same time, and it became a way for my busy mind to finally rest. I discovered that I could re-wire my brain even as I slept. A small daily practice with surprisingly big effects.

I’ve loved wearing colours for as long as I can remember. The bright hues lift my mood instantly, no matter what I’m going through. Over time, I learned that colours carry deeper meaning through the chakras, influencing energy and intention in ways I had never fully appreciated.

Trance music has been a part of my life for over 20 years. My happiest place is the dancefloor, letting my body move however the music wants it to — not a care in the world, truly free. Later, I discovered that this is a form of somatic movement, and that sound frequencies can profoundly influence our mood. Combine the music with coloured lights, lasers, and vibrations, and I truly believe these moments become spiritual experiences — a space where movement, sound, and energy come together, shared in unity with those around you. A deeply individual yet connected experience.

It’s no wonder I was naturally drawn to Sound Healing and Chakra Healing — they combine all of the things that have always nourished me: movement, energy, and transformation.

My Philosophy
I don’t believe in luck, I believe in hard work.

People often say, “You’re so lucky,” in relation to my body, career successes, or lifestyle. But what they don’t see are the years of discipline, sacrifice, and resilience behind the scenes. Success isn’t luck. It’s making a plan, committing to it, staying disciplined, and refusing to give up.

My Mantra is simple: Embrace the learning phase. Make mistakes. Learn from them. Come back stronger.

Mistakes and failures happen.  It's what you do with them that matters.

My "WHY"

  • My why is simple: I love Pilates, and I want share that love with others. What began as a way to ease mental and physical pain became a practice that rebuilt my confidence, grounded my mind, and gave me joy. Teaching Pilates allows me to share that joy with you. To help you discover strength, resilience, and self-love you didn’t know you had.

  • Along the way, I learned that everyone’s body has a story, and every body deserves to be cared for, respected, and challenged gently. And I want to be a part of that!

  • My own path hasn’t been smooth, there were times when Pilates and Sound Baths were a lifeline for clarity and strength during big life changes. I’ve done deep inner child work, rebuilt my self-worth, and found the courage to teach and restart my business. I’ve been there. I’ve done that. I’ve overcome it through mindfulness and movement… and I can help you overcome too.

What matters to me:

  • Community: I want every person who walks into my business or class to feel seen, safe, and supported.

  • Growth: I’m always learning!  new modalities, new ways of teaching, new ways of showing up better.

  • Wellness: True wellness isn’t just about core strength. It’s emotional, mental, and deeply personal.

  • Authenticity: I teach and provide these services from a place of honesty. I share what works, what doesn’t, and what I’ve learned.

Beyond the Studio:

When I’m not teaching (or doing) Pilates, you’ll find me: watching the footy, going to raves, travelling to Bali, finding the best Matcha in Canberra or spending time with family and friends, or dreaming up my next addition to my business.
