These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for using our facilities and services. By booking, accessing, or using any services provided by the Studio, Users agree to comply with these Terms.
Reservations and Bookings
1.1 Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information for each reservation.
1.2 Reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by the Studio.
1.3 Any changes or cancellations must be made within the specified timeframe in accordance with the Studio’s cancellation policy.
1.4 To secure a booking, a non-refundable deposit is required.
Pricing and Payments
2.1 Prices for services are subject to change without notice.
2.2 Users must pay the applicable fees in advance in accordance with the Studio’s pricing.
2.3 Payment may be made using the accepted payment methods as specified.
2.4 All fees are non-refundable, except as outlined in the Studio’s cancellation policy.
Health and Safety
3.1 Users with pre-existing medical conditions or concerns should consult a qualified medical professional before using the sauna.
3.2 Users acknowledge they are responsible for their own health and safety while visiting the Studio.
3.3 Pregnant individuals or those with certain medical conditions may be advised to refrain from using the sauna. It is the User’s responsibility to inquire about any restrictions.
3.4 Users are advised to stay hydrated and refrain from alcohol consumption prior to sauna use.
User Warranties and Acknowledgements
4.1 The User acknowledges and agrees that the use of the Studio’s services and facilities is entirely at their own risk.
4.2 Sally Heinjus recommends that Users consult their general practitioner about the potential impact of sauna use on their health and wellbeing.
4.3 The User warrants that they have considered their medical and physical condition, including but not limited to:

pregnancy;

heart attack or stroke;

abnormal heart rhythm;
-
medications affecting temperature regulation or alertness;

cardiovascular problems;
-
epilepsy;
-
asthma or respiratory conditions;
-
high or low blood pressure;
-
arterial disease;
-
joint or muscle injury; or
-
any other chronic, acute, or medical condition
and elect to use the Services regardless.
4.4 The User represents that they are in good health and have discussed any pre-existing medical conditions with an appropriate healthcare professional prior to use.
4.5 The User is solely responsible for maintaining sufficient personal hydration before, during, and after use of any service.
4.6 The User warrants that they are over 18 years of age. Persons under 18 are not permitted to use the services or facilities.
4.7 Sally Heinjus is not responsible for individual health outcomes, or for the actions, appearance, or conduct of other Users, or for circumstances beyond the Studio’s reasonable control.
Rules
5.1 Users are expected to arrive on time for scheduled appointments. Late arrivals may result in reduced session time.
5.2 Users must follow all Studio guidelines for sauna sessions, including duration, usage, and safety instructions.
5.3 Users are responsible for their personal belongings. The Studio is not liable for lost or stolen items.
5.4 Users must not:

sleep during use of services;

apply or bring essential oils, topical lotions, or fragranced products inside the sauna;

bring infused or oil-based towels into the sauna (plain water-dampened towels only);

consume alcohol or use recreational drugs before, during, or immediately after sauna use;

bring animals into the sauna or studio;
-
wear shoes in the sauna (except where medically required, in which case clean thongs must be worn).
Services
6.1 Sally Heinjus makes no representation, promise, or warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, regarding the operation, functionality, or reliability of the services or facilities, including but not limited to the sauna, equipment, or venue.
6.2 The services are provided “as is” and “as available,” with all faults and defects, and without warranty of any kind.
6.3 While every effort is made to maintain a safe and comfortable environment, the Studio makes no guarantee as to specific results or outcomes.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
7.1 Users must adhere to the Studio’s cancellation policy when changing or cancelling reservations.
7.2 Refunds may be provided in accordance with the Studio’s refund policy, subject to its conditions.
Liability
8.1 Users use the Studio’s facilities and services at their own risk.
8.2 The Studio is not responsible for injuries, illnesses, or adverse effects resulting from sauna use.
8.3 The Studio’s liability for any claims is limited to the total amount paid by the User for the specific service in question.
Governing Law
9.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT).
9.2 Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
